Welcome to My Realm!
“Fantasy isn’t just a merry escapade. You really escape elsewhere, but into something way more extreme than normality, where things become more beautiful, amazing and scarier still. You enter a world where extremes meet.”

Draculea - just call me Dracula

Draculea - blue eyes
Muse: Vladimír T. Drake aka Vlad Tepes Draculea aka Dracula
Fandom: Bram Stoker's Dracula
Words: cc 200

Take a look at the muse list for the community. Pick a muse that yourmuse does not have interaction with now (unless it’s casual meta) whowould fit in each category, thinking about your muse and their basicpersonality, lifestyle, normal behavior and interests. Go with a firstreaction. Remember, it cannot be anyone that your muse has played within anything but the most meta of interactions.

1. A muse that your muse could conceivably date.
2. A muse that your muse could conceivably hate.
3. A muse that your muse could do business with.
4. A muse that your muse could hang out with in a bar.

1. Most likely, Vlad would date any woman of the community but there would be only one case when he'd really mean it as a date and not some blood feast: [info]elisabeta_mina. She was his wife in canon and even if they never interacted, Vlad is character who could love only once and only one. Of course, he has wives and other love affairs but they mean nothing but food or tools to reach his aim.
2. Argh, you want only one? Vlad hates mankind in general, nevertheless he made some exception like the members of his family and some of his enemies he learned to respect. But okay, I would pick up Buffy Summers [info]trueslayer from the list. Not because they'd ever meet (they are from different fandoms) it's just because Buffy killed too much of his children. And also to return Buffy!mun's favour. ;)
3. [info]lt_wes_janson *nods* They did a short meta conversation long ago and Vlad's definitely interested to do some business with that guy, especially when space travel would be involved. But honestly, this mun has no the slightest intention to work out a 'Darth Vlader' version of the Count.
4. You know vampire friendly bars? I think this vampire would appreciate the company of Dr. Gregory House [info]bodynotmind, maybe not exactly in a bar but I could imagine them at the basement of the hospital where Vlad could help himself with some drinks from the hospital's blood-bank.

Draculea - love never dies with Elizabet
Could I bring you back,
I’d drink, from superstition, I’d drink for you,
could I make you not to die,
I'd drink a sea of blood, vodka, wine,
the poison strong moonshines.
The Arges* would carry my days, my nights too,
my shade as a piece of creased sac would float on the billows,
my shirts frayed sleeves would wave
on the shore bushes
and I would worship the Devil
to redemption that I would buy you with my daily dying, my love,
I’ d seek healing god on my knees I would silently crawl.

* Elizabetha committed suicide by leaping from the towers of Vlad’s castle into the waters of the Arges River.

Vlad - undead

Draculea - just call me Dracula
Muse: Vladimír T. Drake aka Vlad Tepes Drakula
Fandom: Bram Stoker's Dracula
Words: cc. 140

OOC: Never really happened! It’s just something Vlad likes fantasizing about.

... and Dracula caught one of them.

Catwoman was on her way to being undead, her head rested against Vlad’s chest. Lowering his head, Vlad lapped the small trickle of blood oozed from the wound on Selina’s neck. There wasn’t too much blood left in her body. Vlad placed a kiss on the soft curve her neck, relishing the sensation of her still warm, flawless skin.
“I’ve done my best to give you a death you deserve.” Vlad whispered against Selina’s skin. “And is there death better than this one?”

Vlad did not expect her to answer. To his honest surprise, gathering all the strength she left, Selina lifted her head and glared at Vlad. “Go to hell!” She hissed.

“We’ll go there, my dear Selina, hand in hand.”

from here

“We take this over from now, lieutenant.” Two federal agents walked toward the interrogation room. They both were wearing dark suit and sunglasses and detective Messer just couldn’t get rid of the feeling that they came from the “Men in Black”.

“Snake Plissken’s under suspicion of homicide was committed in my district. We need his confession, agent…” The lieutenant realized that he did not get their name.

“Smith.” The agent nodded curtly and pointed to his partner. “And this is Jones.”

No, they are from the Matrix, detective Messer thought to himself as he followed his boss and the agents.

“Did he tell you anything?” Agent Smith asked the lieutenant.

“Nothing.” Lieutenant Taylor admitted reluctantly.

“I thought so.” Agent Smith nodded. “You couldn’t break him.”

“We should persuade him to cooperate.” The lieutenant tried.

“No. He will be taken back to the asylum from where he escaped.”

“Asylum? He did not look irresponsible, sir.”

“He is irresponsible, lieutenant. Didn’t he tell you about his family? That the government had them killed?” The lieutenant did not answer but his silence was enough for the agent. “See? He has split personality and his head is full of delusions that’s why he means danger for the society and even for himself.”

Again, the lieutenant did not answer. Somehow, he could even understand the feds. If they were right… but what if Snake was right? Lieutenant Taylor knew those insane asylums all too well. Even prisoners have their rights in a state founded on the rule of law. Snake Plissken - as a citizen of the United States - would have had the right to get a lawyer and a public trial. But the patients of an asylum had no rights. Everything was allowed to make them speak – or make them silent – in the name of medical science. Drugs, electric shock and all kind of things the lieutenant couldn’t even imagine. And he did not even want to as a matter of fact.

He’s guilty and a terrorist too, he reminded himself. But somehow, a tiny voice in his head whispered otherwise.

What makes the difference? Propaganda, I guess. The impresa you bearing on your shield or - in this modern society - the color of your hat.

Let me explain a bit more. Once upon a time, lifetimes ago, there was a knight. He was wearing the sign of cross on his armour and he commanded nations. He and his army killed hundreds of Ottomans in the name of the Christian God. He was a real hero in the Christian world even the Pope celebrated a mass for him hearing his triumphs. His name was a blessing for Christians… but it was a curse for the Turks. Muslims hated him so much that they condemned him worse fate than death. His enemies could not kill the knight so they had his wife kill herself… and the child she was bearing under her heart.
The knight has changed after his wife’s death. Because of her suicide, the Church refused giving her a funeral that would have been her legal due. So, the knight turned against not only the Crescent Moon but also the Cross. He poured the same hatred on the Pope’s servants like he did to the Muslims. He just killed and killed; he just cannot taste enough of blood. And this is so even these days.

Who was the villain in this little tale? The knight? The Turks? Or the Pope?

Whoever it was, the only innocent has died. My wife. Elizabetha.

OOC: This entry sets up after this and before this

NYPD forensic laboratory

“So the victim’s name is Amy North.” The young detective started his report to the lieutenant as they were on their way downstairs to the autopsy department. “I checked on her apartment in Manhattan. There was no sign of intrusion or scuffle. There were several messages on her answering machine.” He pulled his notes out of his pocket. “Most of them were left by a person called Selina Kyle. Understanding from the tone of those messages she might be the victim’s lover.”

“Selina Kyle. We must check on her later.” The lieutenant nodded. “Autopsy first. There’s nothing more telltale evidence then the victim’s body.”

...

“All right, let’s start with the basics,” the lieutenant started. He, the detective and the prosector were standing around a metal dissection table. “What’s the cause of death?”

“Exsanguination.” The prosector looked into his papers. “Extreme loss of blood. “Strange enough but these wounds,” the doctor’s gloved fingers gently touched the raw mass of meat that was the woman’s face once, “were caused after her death.” He looked up at the lieutenant for a second before turned the corpse’s head revealing a deep bite on her neck. “But this,” he continued. “this one tore her neck arteries open and caused fatal blood loss.” He paused again and cleared his throat, knowing that the rest of his report would seem pretty incredible. “Considering the shape and depth of wounds it seems they were caused extremely sharp and large... fangs. The victim was mauled to death.”

“You mean by a dog?” The detective shook his head in disbelief.

“It was definitely a canine, yes.” The doctor nodded. “Felines would have left scratch marks too. As for a dog, I’m not sure. If it was then it must have been an extremely large and strong one. We also found some unidentified animal fur on the victim’s body.” The doctor held up a small plastic container. “I sent samples to the lab for further tests.”

“Good.” The lieutenant nodded. “Anything else?”

“Not much. We did not find skin or blood under her nails or any other sign of fight. It seems the assault took her by surprise.”

...

“Just got the report on a cigarette was found at the crime scene, sir.” The detective took up the word on their way back to upstairs. “After running the DNA sample isolated from the stub we found a match.” The detective handed a file to the lieutenant.

The older man opened the file. “S. D. Plissken aka the Snake... Ex-Special Forces glider pilot.” The lieutenant immersed himself in the study of the file. “This man is a god damn terrorist!” He said finally.

“Or a war hero, sir.” The detective tried carefully. “I doubt this case fits into his profile. He never killed woman before.”

“I think it does.” The lieutenant dropped the file onto his desk. “Snake Plissken was recently accused of a murder in which he had his dogs maul someone. Issue a warrant against the bastard. Now.”

OOC: All right folks. In the case it does not sound too American conversation, mind you this is not my first language. ;)
